Check This Space Next Spring.

When I was six years old, my parents took me to the Grand Canyon. I was so excited, I immediately ran up to the rim to peer over. My dad stayed close, and rather than scold me for getting to close, he said calmly:

“You know, there’s no one down there to catch you if you fall.”

I took a big step back! The Power! The Beauty! The AWE! It was a moment that stuck with me for all my life, but also made me LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Grand Canyon.

Hi Friends! I am currently hiking the Arizona Trail southbound from Utah to Mexico, yes, through the Grand Canyon. Yes, 800 miles. It’s a trail my dad helped build. And he died before it was complete.

And Yes. It’s going to take some time.

So — I have no events planned for the immediate future. Check this space, though, for info on future workshops, talks, live music, and events. Be sure to follow my blog and social media posts from the trail!

A Younger Me.

This handstand photo was taken sometime around 1980 by my old friend Morgan Jones, who is now helping folks experience AWE and recognize the Divine in all our lives with his work as a Certified Spiritual Director.

Check out Morgan’s website: Wrangled by Grace.

Oh, and don’t freak out — the photo is an optical illusion. It’s a fake ledge!

Be mindful out there! No selfies from ledges!
